The work has already begun!
with Ryan and Ruben from the Del Rio Civic Center to continue planning the next chapter of Del Rio Comic-Con.

We're excited to announce plans for:
✅ More vendor space
✅ Expanded entertainment areas
✅ Both Pecan Ballroom & Red Oak Ballroom in use
✅ Hallway galleries on both sides featuring San Felipe Del Rio CISD student artwork and independent artists
✅ Creating an even bigger experience for fans, families, creators, and collectors!
Every year, our goal is to grow and provide opportunities for local artists, businesses, schools, and creators to shine right here in Del Rio, Texas.

One of our amazing DRCC Team members and a proud Del Rio Renaissance Faire member, Elijah, recently shared his passion for arts, crafts, and creativity by hosting a fun mini tutorial for the next generation of LARPers and fantasy enthusiasts.

From crafting ideas to inspiring young minds, it's always incredible to see experienced members of our community helping keep imagination and creativity alive for future adventurers.

🎮🔥 Behind the Scenes at Haven's Toys & Collectibles! 🔥🎮

The transformation continues in Historic Downtown Del Rio as talented local artist Shiloh Bowers brings our Mortal Kombat mural to life, one brushstroke at a time!

What started as an idea to celebrate retro gaming and the community that grew up with it is becoming one of the most unique storefront art projects in town. Featuring legendary characters from the Mortal Kombat universe, this mural is a tribute to the gamers, collectors, and fans who have supported Haven's Toys & Collectibles over the years.

This project also marks one of the first retro gaming-inspired murals on a historic downtown building, proving that art, nostalgia, and community can come together in amazing ways.

A huge thank you to Shiloh Bowers for sharing her incredible talent and creativity with Del Rio. If you're looking for a muralist or artist for your home or business, be sure to check out her work and support local artists!

Today we had the pleasure of visiting the
Queen City Market Kids Market, a wonderful event where young entrepreneurs showcased their creativity, hard work, and dreams. It was inspiring to see so many talented kids building businesses and sharing their passions with the community.
A special congratulations goes out to young author Nezy, who has now published her first and second books! ✍️📖 Seeing young writers bring their stories to life is truly something special. It was an honor to meet Nezy, pick up a copy of her books, and support the next generation of creators.
From handmade crafts and treats to books and imagination, today's event proved that the future is bright for our community.
Never underestimate the dreams of a child—today's young entrepreneurs and authors are tomorrow's leaders, artists, and innovators.

Today, we celebrate all the amazing fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who have shared this incredible journey with us throughout the years. Thank you for creating memories, supporting dreams, and passing on the love of comics, movies, gaming, and pop culture to the next generation.
We also take a moment to remember the fathers and loved ones who are no longer with us. Though they may be gone, their stories, lessons, and memories continue to live on in our hearts.
To every dad who has walked through our doors, attended our events, or inspired those around them — thank you. Your legacy is your greatest superpower.

The Del Rio Comic-Con Community would like to give a huge shout-out to our very own DRCC Team Member, Lillie Gamez, for helping inspire and encourage the next generation of creators. Seeing these talented young authors and illustrators share their stories reminds us why creativity and imagination are so important.
We are incredibly proud of these amazing students from San Felipe Del Rio CISD. Their passion, hard work, and courage to bring their ideas to life prove that the future of books, comics, art, and storytelling is in great hands.
