Join us for Ettie’s Easter EGGstravaganza, inspired by the joyful Easter egg hunts that Ettie Garner once hosted right here on the museum lawn when she and John Nance Garner lived in the home. Children from the community gathered with baskets in hand, searching for colorful eggs in the spring sunshine — and we’re proud to continue that tradition today.

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun, including:

I had to make it work with mainly sponges till my sister showed up to the rescue with my brushes🙌🏻

And then I had the honor of painting sweet littles at the cutest Spider Party! I left from there with such a happy heart. Their teacher really is super great. It was so neat to hear them state so many fun and smart Spider facts & sing cute songs and even participated in cool parent web! Loved every bit of it! 🕷️🕸️🧡

Soo in the middle of my catching up posts and cleaning & sanitizing my face paint kit for another party this weekend. My 4 year granddaughter walks in and says “Grandma, paint me a colorful, glowing skull”
I said “You mean a pretty sugar skull?” and she answers “No, a scary one!” 😅🥰
