Only a few days left to get your 2026 Walton County Fair booth payment turned in!

If you have registered or reserved a booth and have not submitted your payment yet, please contact me as soon as possible. All booth payments are due by SEPTEMBER 1ST in order for us to finalize booth assignments and prepare for Fair Week.

We’re excited to give a BIG Walton County Fair shout-out to Carol Silver! 🤠👢

Carol will be joining us for the Walton County Fair Pageant Barn Dance on September 11th to help kick off Pageant Weekend with a little LINE DANCING! 💃🕺🎶

A huge THANK YOU to Carol for volunteering her time to teach our contestants some fun line dances and help make this special evening even more memorable. Also, a big thank you to the community for like,tagging and responding. If I didn't get to message you back I'm truly sorry.....But I wanted to give everyone a big thank you for thinking of us and wanting to volunteer you're time.

💔 In Loving Memory of Dolly Parton | 1946–2026🌾

Today, we join people across the country in mourning the loss of an American treasure, Dolly Parton.

Dolly never forgot where she came from. Raised in the mountains of rural Tennessee in a hardworking family, she carried the values of faith, family, hard work, agriculture, country living and community with her throughout an extraordinary life.

Those are many of the same traditions we celebrate at the Walton County Fair each year — generations coming together, youth learning from those before them, livestock and agriculture, homemade goods, country music, and pride in the communities we call home.

From humble country roots to becoming one of the most beloved entertainers and philanthropists in the world, Dolly showed generations that where you start does not determine how far you can go — and that you never have to forget your roots along the way.

Today, the country music world has lost an icon, but the traditions, kindness, generosity and music she shared will live on for generations.

🤠💃 VOLUNTEER LINE DANCE INSTRUCTOR NEEDED! 💃🤠

We’re looking for a volunteer who would love to teach our Walton County Fair Pageant contestants a few fun and easy line dances during our Barn Dance!

📅 Friday, September 11th
⏰ 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 Walton County Fairgrounds

If you know your line dances and enjoy working with youth, we would LOVE to have you join us for an hour of dancing, laughter, and fun! 👢🎶

❤️ This is a volunteer opportunity to help make pageant weekend extra special for our contestants.
