🙌🏼 Saturday September 26 - We are closed this weekend to travel to Pine Lake Raceway to support our Quad friends & families.

🦇 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟑 - Halloween night - Double Points - We will do 1 final Track-or-Treat at intermission!! So please plan to participate and dress up. This will also be the Season Championship races. Camping encouraged along with a bonfire and camaraderie after the races. Quads welcome! 🔥

🔥🏁 ONE LAST AFTER-RACE HURRAH! 🏁🔥

One of our longtime racers, Adam Gottschling, and his girls are planning something pretty special for 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟑, after our Halloween racing program wraps up!

And if you know Adam, you know the man LOVES a good party 😂 — so apparently we're not ending this chapter quietly!

🏁 Once the final checkered flag has flown and ALL racing is completely finished for the night, everyone is invited to stick around, relax and enjoy one more night together at the track.

🍔 Adam will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, buns & toppings.

🥗🍰 He's asking everyone who plans to join in to bring a side dish or dessert to share.

🔥 There will be a bonfire, and if you have some extra firewood you'd like to contribute, feel free to bring it along.

🍺 This will be BYOB, yes alcohol is permitted ONLY AFTER all racing has concluded for the night.

🌽🏐 Adam would also love to have some games going! If anyone has co****le boards, a volleyball set, or other outdoor games, bring them along. We might as well have some fun! 😂

🏕️ Overnight camping is absolutely welcome! There's no need to rush home after the party — and we're going to make staying overnight a little more worthwhile...KEEP YOUR SATURDAY WRISTBAND! 🎟️

Anyone who camps with us Saturday night is more than welcome to stay for our FINAL 200-LAP ENDURO on Sunday, October 4th! Your Saturday wristband will be honored for admission to either the GRANDSTANDS OR THE PITS on Sunday, so hang onto it!

This after-race gathering is being hosted by Adam and his family, not Good's Raceway/Jim & Jen. We're simply happy to let them use the property and give everyone the opportunity to spend one more evening together.

And Adam doesn't care what class you race, where you normally race, or even whether you race at all. Drivers, crews, families, friends, spectators — come join us. ❤️

Adam would like to have an idea of how many people are coming and what everyone is bringing, so please let him know if you plan to attend and what side dish or dessert you'd like to contribute.

We've spent a whole lot of nights racing against each other. It seems pretty fitting to spend one of the last ones sitting around a fire, eating way too much food, laughing, playing some games and telling racing stories together. ❤️

And then, after a little sleep...
we'll wake up and do what we do best one more time. 🏁

🏁 𝐖𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐍 𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐑𝐎...𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐖𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐍𝐄! 🏁

On March 5, 2020, we signed the papers and bought the property. We had a vision, a whole lot of work ahead of us, and absolutely no idea what the world was about to throw our way. Then COVID hit.

Everything started shutting down almost immediately after we bought the property. But while the world was changing around us, we went to work. And we certainly didn't do it alone.

During those crazy first months of COVID, so many volunteers came out and helped us bring this place back to life. They cleaned, hauled, repaired, worked on the grounds and did whatever needed done.

People gave us their time, their equipment, their labor and a whole lot of sweat to help us accomplish an incredible amount in a very short period of time. We will never forget the people who showed up for us in those early days. You helped build the beginning of Good's Raceway. 💚

And somehow, in just 87 days, we were ready. They tried to shut us down. They didn't win. On May 31, 2020, we opened those gates and held our very first event. An Enduro. 🏁

Now, after seven seasons, we're bringing it full circle.

We started this era with an Enduro, and that's exactly how we want to end it. But if we're doing it one final time, we want to make it one to remember.

⚠️ HEADS UP FOR TOMORROW Saturday September 5 ⚠️

These photos were taken TODAY following the storm that came through yesterday evening — and unfortunately, it is raining again right now. 🌧️ We had an incredible amount of water.

📷 The last 4 pics are of a retention pond next to our driveway during the monsoon. And then today! Wish Deerfield clay would drain like Suffield!

👀 As you can see, we have standing water, saturated ground, storm damage, and a racing surface that has already taken a beating from the amount of rain we’ve had this season. At this point, it may take a small miracle for things to dry out enough for us to even get equipment onto the track tomorrow..

We are NOT officially calling anything yet. We simply want to give everyone a heads up and be transparent about what we are dealing with.

🔱 If Poseidon calms down and gives us a window and we can safely get equipment on it, we will do everything we reasonably can to make it happen. But unfortunately, there are some things even we can't fix overnight.

For now, we wait, watch the weather, and hope for some sunshine. 🤞 We will update everyone tomorrow as soon as we know more. 🏁

𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗 - We're bringing what may be the most entertaining intermission event in Good's Raceway history... Inflatable Costume Relay Race!

🏁 Adult Division
🏁 Youth Division (age groups will depend on how many participants there are)

Team Requirements:
✅ 7 participants per team
✅ Team name required
✅ One empty gas can (minimum 1 gallon)
✅ Every participant must wear an inflatable costume

The relay will take place around the racetrack, beginning in Turn 4, with teammates stationed around the track to complete the race. We will only do 1 time around the track 🥵

You've got 16 DAYS to finish preparing! Recruit your team, track down your inflatable costumes, and start thinking about a legendary team name.

🙌🏽 We have already started assembling our staff team. Our name is "The Rolling Stops" 🫢

📢 A QUICK NOTE ABOUT THE NEXT FEW WEEKS -

For the next few weeks, our focus will be on our regular 6 divisions. 600 Micros — if you’d like to join us, you are welcome! We’d be happy to have you. But please get at least 6 committed.

🛑 We also want to make one thing VERY clear: Mini Stocks will NOT be getting on our track again. There was far too much stress, aggravation, arguing and fighting surrounding that division. At this point, we have to ask ourselves — why would we welcome that back? We are trying to enjoy the time we have left at Good’s, not spend it dealing with more unnecessary drama. "Ya don't know what ya got til it's gone!"

We also have to be realistic about the condition of the track. After the incredible amount of rain we’ve dealt with this season, we have lost a tremendous amount of clay. There are many, many areas of the racing surface that are now down to sand. At this point, we will be fortunate to get through a few more races we have planned, and adding additional divisions only puts more wear on an already struggling racing surface.

So, we’re keeping it simple: our 6 regular divisions, with an open invitation to the 600 Micros. We want these next few weeks to be about RACING, having fun, and enjoying Good’s Raceway while we still can. 🖤 ~ Jen

🏁 We're changing things up a little... because we can! 🤷🏻‍♀️

🔥 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 — DOUBLE POINTS FOR ALL 6 DIVISIONS! 🔥

We already agreed, per request by an individual, to make Saturday, September 12 a NON-POINTS race for the Mod Lites. And why is that happening ? Because another track and group of folks decided to move a date and is not only stepping on 1 track's toes, but MULTIPLE tracks. Along with another BIG event. Anywho....So rather than having them miss an opportunity at those valuable points, we're moving the opportunity up and giving them the chance to earn them THIS Saturday!

💙 Special shout out to The 21st Century Energy Group for sponsoring the night! There will be a Blackstone Grill up for raffle and maybe a basket or 2...🙌🏼 Along with some shirts to be tossed!!

We're going to make the most of every race we KNOW we have in front of us. We're here Saturday. We're racing. ALL 6 divisions have DOUBLE POINTS on the line. 🖤 ~ Jen 🏁

🏁 Welcome SEPTEMBER!!! Thoughts for the day....

We've spent 7 seasons trying not to step on another track's toes. We've watched things happen over the years that we didn't agree with. We've watched our divisions get added elsewhere on the same nights. We've watched bigger payouts offered to draw cars away. We've watched drivers — and even parents of our young drivers — personally contacted and encouraged to race somewhere else.

And through all of it, we've stayed quiet. We didn't make Facebook posts about it. We didn't call anyone out. We didn't retaliate. We stayed in our lane and worried about Good's Raceway.

But now? We're literally closing. We're trying to get through the final handful of races this track will ever have, and it's STILL happening.

We have a limited number of races remaining. We've never promised exactly how many of those races we'll ultimately be able to run. Over the next couple weeks we should know more ...so stay tuned for that.

Every racer and every family is absolutely free to choose where they race. They always have been. We've never told anyone otherwise. But, by all means, if you don't like the payouts, please go elsewhere. There's NO LAW that states we are REQUIRED to give a payout. It's ASSUMED.

Just understand that when racers leave, especially when an already-small group is deliberately divided between tracks, or tracks that don't normally run certain divisions add them on their schedule, don't assume the track you decided not to support will still be there when you're ready to go back.
