Fast cars, great people, plenty of seat time, and a whole lot of smiles in the paddock.

Every event brings a different mix of cars, drivers, and stories, but the goal is always the same: get out there, have fun, and leave a little faster than when you arrived.

HPR Community Update

Before the rumor mill starts spinning out of control, yes, there was a fire near High Plains Raceway today.

The fire originated off of HPR property and, due to the high winds, spread toward the area near Turn 6.

We’re happy to report that the racing surface and track infrastructure were not damaged. While we did lose a portion of the tire wall, we do not anticipate this having any impact on scheduled events or track operations.

We would like to thank the firefighters and emergency personnel who responded quickly and helped prevent further damage.

We will provide additional updates if necessary, but at this time, High Plains Raceway remains operational and we look forward to seeing everyone at the track soon.

The mountain is calling. ⛰️🏁

With the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb just two weeks away, the Flatirons Tuning Subaru is putting in the work at High Plains Raceway.

Testing days aren't glamorous. They're about gathering data, dialing in the setup, building confidence, and chasing every last tenth before race day.

Best of luck to the entire Flatirons Tuning team as they prepare to take on one of the most challenging motorsports events in the world.

We'll be cheering them on from the plains to the summit.

You may notice things look a little different around here. 👀🏁

Over the last 10 days, we've been hard at work giving High Plains Raceway a facelift from top to bottom.

The biggest change? A brand-new slurry seal has been applied to the racing surface. This specialized seal coat contains aggregate for traction, improves grip, extends the life of our asphalt, and helps us reduce long-term maintenance costs without the expense of a full repave.

But we didn't stop there.

Every curb, line, and marking both on and around the track received a fresh coat of paint, giving the facility a clean, refreshed look that you'll notice immediately when you crest the hill and see the track for the first time.

This is just one step in our ongoing commitment to improving the experience for every driver, rider, racer, volunteer, and spectator who visits High Plains Raceway.
