We are excited to announce we will be featuring TOY STORY 5 before it is released on Disney Plus for our 9/11 ABS

5:00-8:00 Artistic Babysitter | Instructor Zoe | ages 3+ | $40.00 for 1 child or $70.00 for 2

3 hours of art which includes a PG movie & pizza. Instructors will be on hand to help your child work on a variety of mediums while everyone gets a night off or out! A great excuse to grab dinner with a special someone or finish up errands.

I’ve been working with some local families to get a back up after school program up and running for kids of DRES.

We will be offering an exclusive discount for Deep River Elementary School families for our program which runs out of Shell and Bee Studio Monday through Thursday, 3:00-5:30.

Students in K + up can take the bus to our building. We ask that parents pack an extra snack for the program.

Watercolors (for teens + adults)

3:00-5:00 Saturday | Katia Katia Porter | $250 for 4 weeks | 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3

Explore combining expressive watercolor with pen & ink lines. Whether you’re new to watercolor or believe you can’t draw, you can enjoy the freedom and sense of play with these two seemingly very different media. Blending happy accidents of color and shape with the form and structure of ink work can take your art making in directions you can not predict. We will go step by step to familiarize ourselves with the qualities of watercolor; creating washes, blooms, layers, and textures. We will play with a variety of inks; waterproof india ink, acrylic inks, fine-liners, dip pens and brushes to create detailed, expressive techniques.

Duration: 2 hours per class

Materials will be provided. A suggested material list can be sent out for artists who prefer to bring their own.

Experience: Beginner-friendly. Experienced artists are also welcome.

Clay Techniques with 3rdspace.ceramics

4:00-6:00 Mondays | Sarah | $585 for 13 weeks or $290 for 6 weeks

In this course students will learn a variety of techniques for creating with clay, including wheel throwing, slab building, coil building and combining sculptural elements with functional forms. Students are encouraged to research and plan ideas for personal projects throughout the course.
