Back to posting after a long while away! We relocated to upstate New York last summer where I began pastoring several small churches. This winter I got my ceramic studio back up and running in the basement of our new house. Slowly picking up the pieces as I navigate motherhood, pastoring and potting. Three of my favorite jobs.
This plate broke in the kiln several years ago while firing a large order for a church in Texas. I set it aside knowing that someday it could have new life. When the Texas church contacted me about replacing one of the plates in their set (because it got dropped and broke into many small pieces), I offered this one. Knowing that it would be glued back together, they have decided to give this plate new life.
Do you ever find yourself putting the pieces of your life together in new ways?
