Come join us for Lucid Dreamers at Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre!

Lucid Dreamers is our education outreach program designed to introduce younger kids to the magic of theatre. On March 29th from 11 am - 3 pm @ Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre, we’re inviting high school students to participate in a day full of theatre workshops and mentorship opportunities. Aiming to help guide younger students through activities like character creation, storytelling, and performance techniques. It’s a fantastic chance to learn theatre techniques and have hands-on experience in teaching, directing, or stage management.
The cost is $50 per student for the whole day, and lunch will be included. We hope to see you there!

Come join us for Little Dreamers at Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre!

This program aims to foster younger kids’ connections to the theatrical realm, build relationships with peers, and find future pathways to get involved in the arts. This program is led by Millikin students both within and outside of the Pipe Dreams company. Advised by Millikin Education professors to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. With the opportunity for younger students to learn, we as college students get the chance to kickstart their educational experience!

Little Dreamers will take place from March 10th to 14th. Our Daydreamers group (3rd - 5th Grade range) will be led through a week of theatrical games/exercises, be taught how to create characters, and get the chance to learn how to memorize lines. Our Junior Dreamers (6th - 8th Grade range) group will get the opportunity to learn stage management skills and learn the behind-the-scenes work put into production.
