Justin is bringing an incredibly special solo show to our listening room, stripping SUSTO’s songs back to their foundation: just his voice, his lyrics, and the stories behind them. Since founding SUSTO in 2013 while living in Havana, Cuba, he’s built a catalog that moves between Southern Gothic, folk, rock, country, and psychedelia, all held together by confessional, searching songwriting about love, loss, change, and the strange beauty of everyday life.

This is a rare chance to hear those songs up close, in a room built for exactly this kind of night.

Opening the night are South Florida’s The Wire Jays, bringing sharp musicianship and an adventurous take on modern bluegrass.

🎸 SLOW ACCORDION — WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21 @ 7PM 🎸

At Eddie’s next Wednesday, we got a good one & tickets are moving quite fast, so don’t wait too long...

Slow Accordion is a brand new instrumental, improvised quartet from Nashville featuring Oliver Wood of The Wood Brothers, far out grooving bassist Ted Pecchio (Colonel Bruce Hampton, Doyle Bramhall), magically versatile drummer Mark Raudabaugh (Sierra Hull, Jim Lauderdale), and Matt Glassmeyer on his own strange Wurlitzer (Lambchop, Billy Martin).

Their debut album on Royal Potato Family Records was completely improvised and recorded to analog tape, right down to the tape running out halfway through the closing track. No plans, no concepts, just four friends conjuring music out of thin air in the moment. Every night is a one of one, and you’ll want to be in the room for it.

And sadly, no accordions will be heard. 😉

🎸 COCO MONTOYA — TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 @ 7PM 🎸

The real deal blues at Eddie’s in a few weeks!

Albert Collins hired him as a drummer, then taught him guitar. John Mayall heard him play and brought him into the Bluesbreakers for ten years. Since then, Coco Montoya has been one of the most fiery, soulful players in the blues.

He’s bringing Writing On The Wall, his new Alligator Records album, which he’s already calling one of the best records he’s ever made. For the first time on Alligator, he brought his road tested band into the studio with him, and you can hear it.

Billboard said it best: “In a world of blues guitar pretenders, Coco Montoya is the real McCoy... Be prepared to get scorched by the real thing.” In a room this size, you’ll feel every note.

🎃 OCTOBER AT EDDIE'S ATTIC 🎃

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

October is a big month in music history — OutKast dropped Stankonia on Halloween night in 2000 and shifted the sound of southern rap forever, The Beatles released their very first single on October 5th 1962, and Bob Dylan walked onto the Carnegie Hall stage on October 1st 1965 with an electric band that would eventually become The Band. Not a bad month to be alive and listening.

We've got an incredible October lineup ahead — Americana, folk, country, blues, indie rock, jazz, and everything in between. Brand new artists we can't wait to introduce you to, returning favorites who always make it feel like a homecoming, and a few special nights that we think are going to stick with you.

Fall is here. The weather is finally turning. There's no better place to spend it than in a room full of people who love music as much as you do. Come haunt us this month.

This Sunday, Atlanta Americana presents Maya de Vitry live at Eddie’s Attic 🌾

Maya is bringing All My Faith, her fifth full-length album, to our listening room. She made it with no edits whatsoever, just a room full of trusted collaborators playing it live. That includes Spencer Cullum and Ethan Ballinger of Miranda Lambert’s touring band and Jo Schornikow of Phosphorescent, with 5-time Grammy winner Sean Sullivan behind the board.

It’s alt-country and indie-folk with real grit and real heart: songs about canyons and kitchens, cold lakes and highway truck stops, love and touring and learning to accept yourself. On record it sounds like a live show. Hearing it in a room this intimate is going to be something special.

A lovely show to end your weekend on... here they even sing about 'sunday best'! So awesome

Palmyra comes out of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley with traditional instruments and songs about grief, gender dysphoria, and coming of age. Their debut LP Restless on Oh Boy Records lands somewhere between indie rock and raw folk — The Avett Brothers and Old Crow Medicine Show are natural touchstones, but Palmyra has their own thing going.

Opening is Liv Greene ( ), whose self-produced sophomore album Deep Feeler is an honest, vulnerable look at self-acceptance.

The Seattle-based instrumental funk & soul group has been throwing the best block party in music since 2014 — drummer David McGraw, bassist Bryant Moore, guitarist Jimmy James, percussionist Iván Galvez, trombonist Greg Kramer, and saxophonists Gordon Brown and Skerik all bringing it together into something that feels like a neighborhood coming alive.

Amelia Day refused to pick a genre, co-produced her own record, and wrote songs that are direct, angry, and exactly how she feels. Her EP EGO TRIP draws from 90s rock, folk, country, and pop and sounds like none of them... it just sounds like Amelia. Sold-out shows from Seattle to Boston, sets at Bumbershoot and Capitol Hill Block Party, and now she's bringing the full band to Decatur.

Peru-born and Alabama-based singer-songwriter Fabrizio moved to Smyrna, GA at 15, taught himself English watching YouTube videos after school, and worked his way up from bussing tables to signing with Santa Anna Records. His debut Recovery EP speaks truthfully on addiction, loneliness, and mental health with the kind of raw honesty that only comes from living it, and his originals have generated millions of streams.
