Thank y’all for coming out to our season kick off! 🎟️

Nick Lee opened the show with a perfect 40-minute batch. He baited with hilarity and hooked us with song. Not to mention, his guitar playing was fabulous. We learned a little something about tribulations, and can finally say we know a guy in Peoria, IL.

After intermission, Iron Horse took the stage like a firecracker. They were ripping solos every which way, playing chicken with rock n roll. We’d never heard such renditions of “Crazy Train” or “Ramble On” that we had to nail boots to the floor, lest they fly across the room. Rest assured, no one was hurt — except the egos of mandolin players who went straight home to practice. 😆

For our team, the most important aspect of these nights is the community. Not just people showing up, but having a good time together, and sharing a love of music here in Decatur, Alabama. We’re so glad to be a part of this city. ❤️

That first photo 😆. We definitely had some post-show shenanigans.

But these two were absolutely charming, and the crowd had a blast. We swooned over Ellie and our spirits took flight with Sean. We were singing and laughing and crying all at once. They were incredible. 💛

And our Bluegrass & Coffee staff/volunteers did an amazing job making this all happen! Everybody had a good time coming together to do this show. Thank y’all so much.
