The History of Tomorrow 🚗🐕🌹

🖼️ Yesterday, the POP Design Team unveiled their latest mural, “The History of Tomorrow” at the Dearborn Historical Museum offices.

🧑‍🎨 2026 POP Design Team Members include Lilian Kaafarani, Adam Hachem, Amanie Alfatlawy, Kaitlyn Catris, Fatima Alhilfi, Affrica Cassidy, and Kole Catris who worked alongside Director Sunshine Durant, Assistant Eliana Pettigrew, and Guest Artist Anthony Midwest.

💰 Funding for the mural was supplied by Ford Philanthropy, William Bailkowski, The Exchange Club of Dearborn, Steven and Faye Adelson, Ken and Jamie Paris, Johanna Seidel, Jim, and EmmaJean Woodyard.

👏 Project support provided by City of Dearborn - Mayor Abdullah H. Hammoud, Dearborn Historical Museum, Dearborn Parks & Recreation, and Blick Art Materials.

We will have the winning pieces and a selection of works created during Dearborn Homecoming Festival on display. We’re looking for creatives with original artwork, handmade goods, unique gifts, and beautiful things worth discovering to share this holiday season. We want to fill the gallery with one of a kind finds while connecting with our community and encouraging local shopping.

If you make something original, thoughtful, strange, beautiful, useful, or completely unnecessary in the best way, we want to see it. Our holiday market will be open from November 19-December 13, 2026. Deadline to apply is September 10!

Call for Exhibition Proposals
The Padzieski Art Gallery is now accepting exhibition proposals for the 2027 Winter Exhibition Season, with exhibitions scheduled between January and March.

Proposals are being accepted for two gallery spaces:
• Padzieski Art Gallery
• Woodyard Gallery

Artists and curators are encouraged to submit proposals for solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, or curated projects.
