Alissa Moreno had a piano melody she was just playing with and Jeffrey immediately knew what belonged with it.

They were told, “Nobody wants songs about trucks anymore.” Danny Myrick had another idea. He sat down with Chris Janson, Preston Brust and Chris Lucas and did exactly what they were told NOT to do. About 90 minutes later, “Truck Yeah” was written.

Then Tim McGraw called. The song went on to become a Top 10 country hit and one of McGraw’s biggest live anthems.
