We are sad to announce the passing of Ken Petersen. Our deepest condolences go out to his wife, Sue, and their family.

Ken was a pillar of the music community, a dedicated educator, a talented trombone player, and a very good friend. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

In 1976, Ken founded the De Pere City Band and served as its conductor for 45 years. We owe a great deal to Ken for his foresight and his steadfast dedication to both music and our community.
