Mulva Cultural Center The Mulva Cultural Center offers traveling exhibits, arts and culture within an architecturally significant facility in historic downtown De Pere, WI.

The Mulva Cultural Center is the vision of James J. and Miriam B. Mulva, De Pere natives whose immense generosity will provide world-class cultural experiences for generations to come. The Mulvas envision the center to be a catalyst for community investment and an anchor for De Pere’s ongoing vitality. The design, construction and operations of the Mulva Cultural Center are being financed by personal donations from the Mulvas or through grants from the Mulva Family Foundation and managed by the De Pere Cultural Foundation.

Build a ride. Write the code. See what happens!

How do you program a drop tower to move and a platform to spin? Students in grades 4–7 can find out at STEMii Let’s Learn about Loops at Mulva Cultural Center.

With guidance from Marianne Stevens of STEMii, students will build a LEGO robotics drop tower and explore nested loops, or loops within loops, to control its movements. Then, working in pairs, they’ll experiment with the code to create their own exciting ride experience.

It’s a morning of building, problem-solving and discovering what a little coding can do.

A sweet tradition, a family story and a pie to take home.

Join Gina Guth of The Flour Pot, LLC for Belgian Pie Making at Mulva Cultural Center and explore a baking tradition with deep roots in Northeast Wisconsin.

Using prepared, risen dough, you’ll assemble your own Belgian pie with filling and topping, then let it bake while you sample premade pies and hear Gina share stories of her Belgian ancestors and their family customs.

You’ll also receive a demonstration video by DVD or electronic link to help you recreate the tradition at home.

Bring a little autumn warmth home, one leaf and petal at a time.

Join Urban Cultural Arts at Mulva Cultural Center for our **Fall Pressed Flower Candle Lantern Workshop**! Arrange pressed autumn leaves and dried flowers on a glass lantern, choose a warm fall scent for your candle, and finish your creation with a black metal handle and stand.

With a variety of leaves and flowers to choose from, you’ll create a design that feels uniquely yours. No experience needed, just a little curiosity and a love of fall.
