Our Story

MISSION STATEMENT: Bringing to life the richness of performing arts to our community.

The Daytona Beach Symphony Society brings classical music of the highest quality symphonic orchestras, dance and opera to the community. Our season consists of seven performances which occur November thru March. Our YES! (Youth Experiencing Symphony) Program impacts over 3,000 Volusia County students a season. The Society has spent well over one and one half million dollars to support this program. Students experience a performance, some for the first time, with hopes they develop an appreciation for this musical art.
