Dayton Contemporary Dance Company is honored to receive the Bob Ross Legacy Award at the 2026 Gem City Black Business Month Awards for its contributions to Dayton and the surrounding region. Artistic Directress Qarrianne Blayr and President and CEO Debbie Blunden-Diggs extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who voted for this recognition.

And DCDC celebrates every individual and organization nominated this year. Each nominee reflects the strength, creativity and dedication that continue to move Dayton's Black business community forward.

As Season 58, "Continuum... Legacy in Motion," continues to move forward, this honor reflects the community's continued support of DCDC's mission.

DCDC also thanks the Greater West Dayton Incubator and its partners Dayton Metro Library, The Entrepreneurs Center and IBROC for organizing the Gem City Black Business Month Awards and for creating spaces and opportunities that recognize and elevate Black businesses and leaders across the region.
