Cale Marker is a resourceful and eclectic visual artist working primarily in acrylic and found object work, as well as a standup and improv comedian who enjoys pushing the limits and exploring the possibilities of artistic production. An athlete turned business owner, Cale found a desire to create at age 30 and began using artistic expression as a pathway to self-discovery. Pulling inspiration from diverse cultures, bold colors and the nuance of human connection, Cale uses art to challenge perspectives and experiment with a broad range of mediums and tools. He has a talent for employing unorthodox methods to repurpose items that are often overlooked or considered to be trash and turning them into art that denounces the word “can’t”.
