Porchfest team, I have to tell you that I have played well over a hundred music festivals. This experience was utterly fantastic. So well run and organized. So kind and cordial. So... well... Festive! Thank you so much for your unbelievably hard and attentive work. It was truly an honor and a pleasure to be a small part of the day. A thousand Thank Yous.

Last weekend was a delight for the many KF colleagues who went out to attend this year's Dayton Porchfest in the (rain *and* shine). Congrats to 2024 Dayton Democracy Fellow Peter Benkendorf for leading this initiative in collaboration with partner organizations and the numerous Dayton Democracy Fellows behind the scenes, on the stages, and in the streets.

We're proud to have sponsored this local gathering that brought neighbors together on porches and lawns, creating space for building trust, connection, and belonging. Democracy depends on healthy, inclusive communities and a vibrant arts scene, where everyone has a voice in shaping our shared future.
