Heads up! If you like Beat Saber: best come in and play before July 31st! By end of business that day we will be required to remove Beat Saber from all our computers. Sorry, y'all, it's not a decision on our end -- Facebook has decided it no longer wants to license Beat Saber commercially and so has ordered all arcades to remove it from their PCs by that time.

We'll let y'all know if the situation changes but, at least at this time, Facebook doesn't seem like it's wanting to budge on this. Good News: Pistol Whip is awesome and, though it doesn't have lightsabers, it's awesome in all the same ways. Give it a shot!

Welcome back to Lucid VR!! As of 11AM this morning, we are open again!

We're very excited to have y'all in but first just a quick reminder of our new store policies!

1. Please arrive wearing a Mask. Those who are not wearing a mask won't be allowed in the store. (Sorry!)
2. Please wash your hands on arrival, using the front bathroom as we're using the back bathroom for UV-C Radiation Equipment Cleaning. (The door is marked as such)
3. Please reserve your time an hour in advance either by calling us during our new store hours or by booking on our website.
4. Arrive before your reserved time! Our system will start your time at the time it was booked to start, whether you're in your booth or not. Most folks take from 5 to 15 minutes to get ready to play (including payment), depending on how familiar they are with our equipment and games.
5. Please note that those who are not playing will be asked to leave. Up to one guardian may be present while someone is playing.
6. Starting Monday, we will do quick contactless temperature checks of all guests. If you have an abnormal temperature you'll be asked to leave.
7. Staff will now handle your TapMango logins, registrations, and point redemptions and we will prefer contactless or chip payment over cash
8. We will still be offering drinks and snacks in our facility, but staff will get the items for you when you purchase them.

Thank you all so much for your support and we can't wait to have y'all in again! We are trying our hardest to keep our facility a safe place for you and your loved ones to come play in and we wish all of y'all well.

Online booking has been set back up and the VR Arcade will be opening on Saturday! Please see our website for more details, changes to store policies, and to book your time! We're working on getting payment processing and e-mail confirmation added to our booking system to assist you with your reservations and will update y'all as that comes!

Lucid VR Update!

Re-opening date: prospectively next weekend as we're still waiting on a sanitation item to be delivered and it has been unfortunately delayed.

New store hours going forward:
Monday - Saturday: 11 am - 8 pm
Sunday: 12 pm - 8 pm

Pricing changes:
50% off on Thursdays will be changing to 30% off.

Memberships:
Any memberships that were active at the time we closed down will be renewed this month for free.

Reservation changes:
Please arrive on time as your time will begin regardless of whether or not you are in booth and prepared to play. We recommend arriving 5-20 minutes before your scheduled time, depending on your level of familiarity with VR equipment and the size of your party.

Cancellation/Refund policy change:
No refunds will be provided if you cancel your reserved time within two hours of when it was scheduled to begin.

New store policies:
- Reservations must now be made 1 hour in advance and through either our phone our online booking software
- Parties will be limited to 4 booth reservations per group
- Everyone who enters the store (including employees) must arrive wearing a mask, wash their hands, and have their temperature checked. An abnormal reading will result in being asked to leave; if this results in you not being able to play in your reserved time you will be given an expiration-less voucher for that time to be used later.
- Guests who are not playing and are not guardians of someone playing will be asked to leave the store; if you are a guardian please note we only allow one parent at a time in the store.
- Guests must maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from each other while in-store, except while in-booth where the walls will prevent physical contact
- We will prefer payment through contactless methods such as chip, wireless card, SamsungPay, ApplePay, and other such services.
- Extra cleaning measures will be taken around the store at much more frequent intervals and we will deploy UVC radiation to clean our equipment each day.

-- Notice of Temporary Closure! --
Out of an abundance of caution for both the staff's and your health, Lucid VR Arcade will be temporarily closing starting this upcoming Monday to help stem the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We are still open today and we will be open normal hours tomorrow.

We wish you and your loved ones well and with luck we'll be opening our doors back up within the next few weeks! Wash your hands and watch our news feed! ❤️
