A huge thank you to all of the School of the DAI alumni who participated in this special exhibition and helped us celebrate the incredible history and lasting legacy of the School of the Dayton Art Institute. A very special thank you to Kimyon Huggins for bringing his vision for Future Is Now X home to Dayton, Ohio.
This one was personal for me. Kimyon and I went to Chaminade Julienne together, and all these years later, having the opportunity to help bring his vision to life here in our hometown was incredibly meaningful.
Future Is Now X brought together artists, live painting, performance, conversation, collaboration, and some truly legendary guests—but at the heart of it was Kimyon’s belief in bringing something back to the city where his own story began.
I’m incredibly grateful that he trusted the Dayton Society of Artists and me with that vision, and proud of what we were able to create together here in Dayton.
Thank you, Kimyon, for bringing it home. 🖤
