Hello all,

We are thrilled to announce the annual Giving Strings Concert on Saturday August 14th at 6:30pm on the 200 block of Ridgewood Avenue in Oakwood! We hope that you will be able to come and join us! We are working on gathering the music, and it will be available for pick-up within the next couple weeks. We will send a follow-up email saying when and where the music will be available.

This year's concert will benefit Hannah's Treasure Chest. Hannah's Treasure Chest is a nonprofit organization which enriches the lives of children in need by providing care packages of clothes, shoes, books, safety equipment and hygiene items including diapers through a network of nearly 50 partner agencies in Butler, Greene, Montgomery and Warren counties (https://hannahstreasure.org).

Patrick Reynolds will again be conducting. The music will feature a range of styles and difficulty levels. As usual, the orchestra is open to all who would like to participate. Rehearsals will be on the evenings of August 13th (required) and August 6th (optional for those who would like more help with the music).

We hope you will be available to join us and bring your friends! In past years, we had over 120 musicians in the orchestra. Spread the word to your friends and family. Perhaps this year will be even bigger!

Thank you for your past support of Giving Strings and we hope to see you again this year.

You can also contact us at our page, Giving Strings Orchestra.
