I can’t believe we’re already in September!!!

Along with normal crafty programming I am also going to be part of an Activist Fashion Gathering in Middletown, OH with Glenda Miles Floss & Flourish -Tasha (Moon Goddess of Glitter) ♥️ and Bethany Shoaf Tompkins

It is a whole day of up-cycling items you already have into wearable art. There will be stations for textile painting, easy embroidery, patch making, beading, stamping, stenciling, chain stitching, and more. We want everyone walking out with garments of empowerment and dissent. Info👇

When: September 19th from 10-3 (food and beverages provided)
Where: Pendleton Art Center (making art is Vance’s hometown is especially sweet)
Cost: $75
What to bring: clothing you want to turn into art, fabric scraps to share, scissors, and a heart filled with love, hope, and rage.

We’re going to watch Beetlejuice, the first one, to support the Artemis Center

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month so it was meant to be when choosing a local organization to support. As a DV survivor myself, this month holds a special place in my soul. A good time to remind people that anyone can be a victim and if you or someone you know is experiencing intimate partner violence or control, there’s help and you’re not alone.

If we’re not supposed to be into monster s**t than why was the Beast waaayyyyy hotter than his human version? Why was Robin Hood the Fox so much sexier than he needed to be? What’s with Daddy Triton? The entire cast of Earth Girls are Easy were serving alien. Simba could get it. The list goes on and on.
