Well folks we had a first time experience yesterday evening… we set out to fulfill our requested performance for the Cinci Symphony Orchestra, however, upon our arrival (because the Cincinnati Fire Department required all hands on deck for the Reds’ Opening Day) we were told we couldn’t move forward with our fire performance due to a fire official not being available during our exhibition… sometimes even when you cross all your T’s and dot your I’s (and have your permits) things just end up not working out…

The CSO staff were super accommodating and apologetic, and offered us tickets to see their show which we all really enjoyed… we look forward to and are hopeful for future collaborations 🔥🎶

WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT!!

We are officially 2 weeks out from The Dayton FlowArts Gathering which means it’s time to introduce our featured instructor, Raven! ✨.un✨

Raven is a multi prop artist of over 8 years with experience in hoops, fans , and poi. Her main goal is to encourage
anyone to explore their props to their full potential no matter what stage of learning they come from! You can find and follow Raven on several platforms including TikTok, YouTube and here on Instagram! (.un)

Raven will be offering her workshop: Prop Throwing 101

Welcome to tossing your props and catching them! Sounds simple but when adding it to your routine it creates a great break in pattern and works wonders for a crowd pleaser!

Be sure to join us and Raven on an April 4th from 4-7pm in Huber Heights, at The Dayton Academy of Gymnastics & Dance!

Congrats Travis!! Everyone check out our friends in flame, PB and J Circus 🔥

Several of you contacted us about Ohio's requirement that fire performers get licensed through the State Fire Marshal's office. Well, after a bit of a process, Travis has been probed, background checked, strip searched, tested, and certified.

Thanks to Megan from Sage Fire for her help, and to the folks at PSI Testing in Hamilton.

And for any other performer doing fire shows in Ohio, don't worry too much, if they'll license this guy, they'll license anyone.
