Very thankful and in awe that Ismael El Matatan interviewed me for Dayton Daily News. He did an incredible job and is a wonderful writer and interviewer. I love that he captured special details and focused on the impact travel has had on my writing as well as capturing the sabbatical work on the Barbara Battin project. Happy one year anniversary to "How to Tie To***co." This book poured out of me, connecting to stories for all the grandmothers and great grandmothers and matriarchs.
