One of my favorite little victories this summer…

When we built the pavilion last year, I was honestly worried about these vines.

Construction happened just inches away from them, and even though we were as careful as possible, I wasn’t sure how they’d handle all the changes. There were definitely moments when I wondered if we’d lose them.

Fast forward to this summer…

They’re happier than ever.

They’ve climbed almost all the way up the side of the pavilion, and they’re absolutely covered in grapes. (No, we don’t make wine… but they sure make a pretty backdrop!)

It’s one of those little details that most people probably don’t think twice about, but every time I walk by, it reminds me how much this place continues to grow. Watching The Vine come to life has been such a rewarding journey, and seeing these vines thrive right alongside it feels pretty special.

If you’re here for a wedding this season, take a peek at them. They’re one of my favorite parts of the property.

Calling all vendors!

The Dawson Chamber Block Party is looking for local vendors to join our outdoor market on Wednesday, August 12, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

✨ No vendor fee
✨ First come, first served
✨ Family-friendly community event featuring food, activities, and entertainment.

If the registration form is open, that means vendor spaces are still available! Simply fill out the form to reserve your spot. No waiting for approval, no back-and-forth emails. Once you're registered, you're in!

Please note that vendor spaces will be located on city streets and sidewalks. If you're bringing a tent, be sure to bring adequate weights, as tents cannot be staked into the pavement.

Vendor setup begins at 3:00 p.m. Additional event details will be emailed the week before the event.
