🎉 It's BBQ Weekend in Dawson Springs! 🎉
We're excited to welcome back all of our Dawson Springs alumni and visitors for one of our favorite weekends of the year! ❤️ While you're enjoying everything happening around town during the 78th Annual Dawson Springs Barbecue, don't forget to stop by Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park!
Here's what's happening at the park this weekend:
⛳ Saturday – Pennyrile Golf Scramble
• Begins at 8:00 AM
• Public tee times available after noon
🍽️ Dining at the Lodge
Friday
• Lunch: 11am - 3pm (Full Menu + Salad Bar)
• Dinner: 4pm - 8pm (Full Menu + Salad Bar)
Saturday
• Lunch: 11am - 3pm (Full Menu + Salad Bar)
• Public Buffet: 4pm – 8pm (Celebrating our Dawson Alumni)
• Everyone is welcome!
📞 Alumni Groups: If your reunion group plans to enjoy the Saturday buffet with 10 or more guests, please call ahead to reserve a table so we can seat your group together.
🌊 Enjoy the Park
• Beach: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Mini Golf: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Boat Dock: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Hiking trails, basketball/tennis courts, scenic overlooks, arcade room, and the gift shop are always open to enjoy!
