The lovely Emma Hill. I still remember when she was very young and I told her I was a ballet teacher. Little did I know that she would grow to be this ballet goddess! If you are interested in the performance, I will be posting that. Emma you are so gorgeous!

Some move advice from teachers I have had. “ are you ready to dance? You are the one who chooses how you will dance today. And it starts with your plies, we start dancing there. It is not just exercises, you are dancing . So what will you do today? It’s up to you. “ Rachel Moore , thank you!

Been thinking so much bout Jean Schneider. She taught me so much as a child. Then later in life she taught me even more. I remember when we were talking about teaching and I said something about “my dancers”. She was so kind and loving . But she looked at me and said “ don’t tell them they are your dancers, you don’t make them, they do”. These words have really been something I should have paid attention to more. I know that I have said “my dancers “ for a long time. She reminded me to not say “ mine”. Jean thought it as important to say where they were trained and that was very very important. But what is more important is when we encourage them to try as much dance as they can. And she always reminds that that yes they stay in our hearts forever. It was some of the best advice I have ever been given by another teacher. ( oh but Jean was so much more than a teacher, she is actually part of ballet history). I want to work on my humility as a teacher. Maybe it is because I am getting older lol. But thank you Jean. All of what you have taught me will stay with me forever. As I go through this very hard time in my life, I often reflected often on my teaching and life. Keep shinning dancers . I truly hope that I have helped you in some way. And don’t forget how much I love you and what a very big part of my life you have been. I have been proud to be your teacher. Thank you.

I must say I “ kind of” miss my pointe shoes, then I get smart. Having my neice grow up dancing with me was so special! Ahhhh am I going to ever go back to the way it was? Not teaching is one of the hardest things I have been through in many ways. Sometimes brain surgery’s seem like nothing because my worst pain is missing this. And yes I have to thank those that really care and have been there for me through this hell. I 💕 you all.
