Your local community theatre serving the Lake Norman area since 1965. We produce multiple Main Stage shows and Youth shows, theatre classes, and summer camps. We utilize several venues for our shows, including our home theatre-- Armour Street Theatre, the lovely Duke Family Performance Hall (which is located on the campus of Davidson College), and Cain Center for the Arts.

Farewell to our Production Summer Intern, Kate Baker! Kate is heading back to Brown University for her senior year, but not before leaving her mark as our Scenic Designer for THE COTTAGE, running at Armour Street Theatre September 10–27.

We can't wait to see her full design come to life: a period 1920s interior with upscale, comfortable drawing-room elegance. Congratulations to Kate!!

Meet Andrew Pippin, playing Clark in DCP's production of THE COTTAGE by Sandy Rustin, a wickedly funny British farce running September 10 to 27 at Armour Street Theatre.

It's baaaack. 👻🍻 Boos & Brews Festival returns to Armour Street October 22–25, 2026 for its 10th year (yes, you read that correctly) and we need your help to make this the best one yet! Our 2026 theme is "OBSESSION," inspired by our own low-key obsession with horror cinema.
We're calling all local writers and storytellers to submit a play and/or pitch a live story built around that theme, whether it's a fixation, an unhealthy attachment, a craving you can't shake, or something else entirely - interpret this however you'd like. The content does NOT have to be Halloween/horror-related.
