Destination David Creative District

The UNL Journalism Class came to do some coverage on the future Veterans Memorial/Greenspace & Sculpture Park! (Where the old Legion building use to be). UNL Design students are drawing up different designs for the space right now! We are hoping to find grants & donations to hire Dillon Krueger to paint a Veteran's mural on the building next door with some restrooms inside for use during outdoor community events. Other goals are a reflecting bench, MIA wall, some statues/sculptures & some bistro tables, greenspace, string lighting & shade. Follow for project updates & please share!

Such a great event to be a part of & it was a very eye opening experience. Thank you for bringing unique cultural presentations to our county Butler County Nebraska Historical Society and for letting us set up an informational table at the Butler County Event Center.
