Dance for a Cure! 💛🎗️ REGISTRATION ENDS SATURDAY!! ‼️‼️

If you’re in the Columbus, Nebraska, area- we have the perfect event for you!!

What? The 3rd annual Dance Convention!! 🎉

Who? Anyone who loves to dance that is 5+ years old! (This could be your first time dancing or a competitive high school dance team member or an adult who wants to get their groove on!)

Where? Columbus, Nebraska, at the 1C Sanctuary

When? May 30th from 9am-3pm

Why? To raise awareness and funds for , childhood cancer research! 🎗️ Get to dance with some AMAZING choreographers and collegiate dancers (4 dances/genres throughout the day) 💃🏼 Make new friends and celebrate the ability to move and dance! 👯‍♀️

$50 registration fee that includes T-shirt! 👕

💎✨Senior Spotlight✨💎

Today, we are celebrating Jenacy Schultz!

After graduation, Jenacy plans to attend CCC to complete her prerequisite classes for radiography, then continue on to SCC to earn her associate’s degree. From there, she hopes to attend UNMC in Kearney and work her way toward her doctorate.

Her favorite style of dance is Hip Hop and her favorite memories at Desiree’s Dancers include connecting with the community through dance- especially walking in the parade and performing at Christmas on the Bricks! Her advice to our younger dancers is to remember that life begins once you step out of your comfort zone!

We are so proud of you Jenacy and can’t wait to watch you shine on our stage next week! 💎✨💐

Introducing our first Senior, Sophia Slonecker

After years of dedication, growth, and unforgettable moments, Sophia is getting ready to take her final bow on our stage. While she is still figuring out exactly what’s next, one thing is certain- dance will always be a part of her life!

Sophia’s favorite style is Lyrical and what she loves most about dance is the friendships she has built along the way! Her advice to our younger dancers: “Be confident and remember the studio is one big family!”

We are so proud of you Sophia, and can’t wait to watch you shine on that stage! 💎💎
