We are thrilled to announce Junior Theatre was one of the recent grant recipients from Regional Development Authority. In case you didn't know about this awesome organization, the Regional Development Authority strategically funds initiatives to create a vibrant, inclusive, and growing community. They collaborate with organizations to help make a difference in the lives of Scott County and the greater Quad Cities region. We at Junior Theatre couldn't be more grateful for the support of Regional Development Authority!

Junior Theatre, Inc is proud to announce Jessica Sheridan as our new Managing Artistic Director. As many of you know, she has a long history of involvement in our program and we couldn’t be more excited to bring her on in this capacity!

Jessica holds a BA in Theatre from St. Ambrose University and a Master's in Arts Management from the University of Oklahoma. She is a professional photographer, a former teaching artist for Davenport Junior Theatre spanning 16 years, as well as director, designer and former board member for Junior Theatre Inc.'s Mainstage program. Notable past experiences include studying with the Dell'Arte Company of California, studying with the former head of voice for the Royal Shakespeare Company's Andrew Wade, working with Broadway director Philip Wm. McKinley and playwright William Luce, and working with the QC Theatre Workshop and Aaron Randolph III on his all original play Green River.

Her list of favorite JT experiences is long but some that rise to the top are directing the steampunk inspired Pinocchio, directing a new adaptation of Jungle Book featuring mask work, directing Scrooge way back in 2009, and stage managing the original adaptation of Aesop's Fables. She has worked with thousands of kids of all ages during her time with Junior Theatre and can't wait to continue!

She is passionate about making theatre accessible, educational and fun for as many Quad City youth as possible and is thrilled to lead the way into Season 75!

With John Deere underwriting all of the administrative expenses, 100% of your donation will go directly to making theatre programming accessible to all Quad City youth. The John Deere Classic has delivered millions to charities. Most of it through Birdies for Charity.
