Planet Funk Con 2026 is excited to welcome entertainment by Eric Wesselmann!

Dr. Eric Wesselmann is a psychologist, professor, and full-time nerd. He loves hosting con panels and having nerdy conversations with people about their fan passions. Eric has published research on the psychology of fandom, horror, and music. He has been interviewed by media outlets across the globe. Eric grew up in the Quad Cities and is thrilled to be able to contribute to the ever-growing local con culture, providing a community space for nerds of all ages. He has archived many of his previous Planet Funk Con panels on his YouTube page Digital Golgotha Productions ().
