On Thursday, May 28th Blue Devil Productions cast performed at the Iowa High School Musical Theatre Association at the beautiful Des Moines Performing Arts - DMPA in front of a sold out crowd:
🎭 The award winning Outstanding Musical Performance Spotlight of the finale song.
🎭 As well as four of our performers, Micah Roldán, Cameron Shumpert, Ellerie Hurley, and Wrigley Mili Mancha represented Central in the Triple Threat program where they performed a medley. Those four drove to Des Moines early in the week and put in countless hours working with Broadway professionals singing, dancing, and engaging in coaching sessions honing their acting skills. On stage, their dynamic performance really electrified the stage proving they are elite performers ready for Broadway.
🎭 We had such a busy day, it was impossible to get all of them together at one time for a full picture, so we decided to add pictures from the student point of view for all the behind the scenes fun!
🎭Special thank you to for all of our recognitions this year, principal, Brian Ehlinger and associate principal Alissa Hansel, and the blue devil productions, drama helping us boosters for helping us make our trip to Des Moines happen, and all of our parents and community who either watch the awards live in Des Moines or online.
