Central Singers, Inc. show choir and their pit band, Pit Nation, are headed to Nationals in Orlando, FL. This a fundraiser to help students who can’t afford the trip. Please chip in if you can!

Central Singers is headed to FAME Orlando to compete in March! We are trying to raise $7,000 from now until March 11th to send SIX students who are struggling to make their payments. This is the fifth time that DHS/CHS has performed at Midwest. The concert band performed in 1954 and 1966. The woodwind quintet and brass sextet both performed in 1968.

The legacy of success and excellence continues to thrive in the Central Bands!

The Symphonic Wind Ensemble has been hard at work the past two months preparing for their performance as the reading band for Randall Standridge Music at The Midwest Clinic this coming Wednesday! We are so grateful for all of help, support, and guidance from our wonderful clinicians, colleagues, administration, and parents.

There will be some wonderful door prizes, interactions with composers, and lots of fun with 10 brand new works being performed Wednesday at 4:30pm in W184. We can’t wait to perform and look forward to seeing many friendly faces.
