A little get-to-know-the-owners moment from the two people behind Board & Brush Quad Cities!

We’ve been doing life together since 2015 and added “own a DIY studio together” to the mix in 2025… because apparently we needed a little more chaos.

Around here, Rachel usually has the ideas 💡 and Cam… well, you saw the video. 🏳️

But truly, we love getting to do this together… most of the time. 😂 We love the little B&B family we’re building, and we’re so dang grateful for all of YOU who continue to be part of it.

Here’s to more projects, more memories and probably a whole lot more of Rachel saying, “I have an idea…”

Saturday Morning Makers + FREE mimosas! 🥂

We had a great group in this morning and just LOOK at these projects. 😍 So many different styles and they all turned out so dang good.

And yep, we like to sneak in free mimosas every once in a while just because we can. 😂 So keep an eye on those workshops… you never know when we might decide you need a little bubbly with your DIY.

Now THAT’S how you kick off the weekend. 🙌

We had a full house for Kick Off The Weekend Pick Your Project workshop tonight, and as always, it was a pretty darn good way to spend a Friday night. Great projects, lots of laughs, and a whole lot of fun happening around the studio.

And we’re just getting started… fall workshop season is ramping up and there is SO much good stuff coming. 🍂 If you’ve been eyeing a project, grab your spot and come make something with us!

Our Midweek Condensed Collections crew made some pretty great projects last night, but we think the smiles might be even better. Nights like this are exactly why we love having you all in the studio.

Apparently we couldn't have planned this better if we tried. 🐾

On National Dog Day, we officially got to hand over everything YOU ALL helped raise for K9 Kindness Rescue at our Paws & Projects Night!

Together, thanks to YOU ALL, we raised OVER $500 for K9 Kindness Rescue ($510 to be exact 🤭) — PLUS this incredible pile of food, treats, toys and supplies that this wonderful community brought through our doors. ❤️

We’ve been saying all along that our goal is for this studio to be so much more than a place where you come to make a project. We want it to be a place that brings people together, becomes part of this community and gives us opportunities to do some good along the way.

And thanks to YOU ALL and this wonderful community, we’re watching that vision come to life right before our eyes — and we couldn’t be more grateful. ❤️

This was our first event like this, and just look at what we were able to do together. We are so incredibly thankful to every person who came, donated, voted, shared or cheered this idea on from the beginning.

And something tells me we’re just getting started. ❤️
