We’re thrilled to share that we’re launching a brand‑new kids podcast/vlog: Little Lights — celebrating how even the youngest performers shine for Jesus! This special series will feature our musical theatre cast, from our tiniest stars all the way to our amazing alumni.

Get ready for behind‑the‑scenes fun, cast interviews, faith moments, bloopers, and all the joy that makes our theatre ministry such a bright spot in our church family. If you’ve ever been part of one of our shows, we’d love to have you join us.

Coming December 2026…

A NIGHT FULL OF STARS!

Bethlehem’s Amazing Moving Pictures Show! It’s a star-studded opening night for the newest entertainment innovation, “moving pictures”, portraying Bethlehem’s very own superhero, King David. But the buzz on the red carpet can’t compare with the dazzling angel display out on the hillside announcing the birth of the promised Messiah, Christ the Lord — right there, in the City of David! The audience has gathered, the actors are in place, but the story just changed. Instead of the triumphs of Bethlehem’s own famous shepherd-king and giant-killer put on display, a new and better show is suddenly taking center-stage, and we can’t help but gather round to worship the new “most famous person ever born in Bethlehem”, the Savior of the world, Jesus!

🎉 The countdown is officially over… our production of “Dude, You Hear What I Hear?” opens TOMORROW! 🎉

We cannot wait to share this hilarious, heartwarming, and meaningful Christmas musical with you!

✨ Show Summary

Christmas is full of sound—so much sound, in fact, that the real message of Christmas can get buried under all the noise.

In a crowded “Mondo-Mart” buzzing with last-minute shoppers, shy Taylor and her youth group stop for snacks on their way to a Christmas camp. Taylor—quiet, thoughtful, and a champion hide-and-seek player—finds the perfect hiding spot… so perfect that she doesn’t realize her group has left, the bus is gone, and the store has closed for the night!

When she finally steps out, she’s shocked to find the store’s fun-loving mannequins coming to life—because once the doors lock, they assume the store is theirs again! But Taylor quickly discovers the mannequins only know about Christmas from what they’ve overheard on the PA system… and wow, are they confused! Meanwhile, the not-so-high-tech night watchmen listening in from outside are just as puzzled.

What unfolds is a joyful, funny, heart-tugging journey toward understanding what Christmas is really all about. ❤️✨

We are kicking off a new fundraiser this musical season “Nothing bundt Cakes”. Please see your favorite cast members to support their upcoming production of “Dude, You Hear What I Hear?” which runs December 6th and 7th.

Orders and payment are due by Sunday, November 9th and delivery will take place on Sunday, November 23rd (right before Thanksgiving).

There is no sweeter way to support our CVZ Kingdom Kids!

Not to brag… but I’m going to anyway! 😄
This cast has been working so hard — and they’re already OFF BOOK with everything we’ve taught so far! 🙌 We’re just a few weeks away from having the entire show taught, and then it’s full speed ahead into running and cleaning… with over a month to spare before show weekend! 🎭✨

I couldn’t be more proud. The dedication, heart, and talent these kids are pouring into this production is something special.

God is truly on the move with this group — and I can’t wait to see what He continues to do through them! 💛

We're delighted to share that yesterday’s CVZ Kingdom Kids rehearsal results are in, indicating that everyone is performing exceptionally well in rehearsals, having fun and learning about the birth of our risen lord and savior, Jesus Christ!

This evening we had our second rehearsal! The enthusiasm and perseverance of these kids is inspiring as they continue to work hard both at home and during rehearsals, leading to more excitement with each passing week!
