I am sad to miss out on so many amazing markets in June. Seems like June is always filled with so many fun ones to kick off summer. I’m grieving it. I need to have less pain and stronger mobility to be able to comfortably carry out all the things needed to set up and sell at markets. I’m also hoping to find a team to help me set up my tent and tables, etc before markets. I hope to see you all soon (maybe First Friday in July at Haynies Corner) but for now I need to take the time to care for this body of mine that has been through a lot this month.

Thank you Bluestocking Social for putting together an art care package for me. It gave me some joy to be able to paint.
Me and my kids usually spend Mother’s Day in the garden, but this year I was in the hospital, so I decided to paint a garden for my room at rehab.
Today I go home and I’m a little nervous and excited.

Adding beauty out in the world. It was a lovely evening for First Friday! Thank you to everyone who came out to support local. I got to meet so many humans yesterday which is my favorite part of market season. And thanks to Haynie's Corner Arts District for offering this event to local artists, musicians and food trucks!
