I used to be able to finish a few paintings in a week. I have been pregnant for 5 months now and all I have managed to get done in this time is this pet portrait! I am so glad I decided to take some time away from my art and focus on my pregnancy and my family, BUT I SURE DO MISS IT! Pregnancy fatigue is no joke! Not to mention any of the other super fun symptoms. Thank you to all of y’all for being so understanding during this special time 💕💙💕

ADF has some news to share- Baby Fields number 3 will be arriving this fall! I’m deep in the throws of first trimester symptoms 🤢😵‍💫😴 so commissions will be closed for the foreseeable future. I have a few commissions to finish and will hopefully be sharing them as I complete them! After those are done I will be taking some time away from my art business and Instagram. I will be spending my time taking care of myself and new baby Fields, spending time with my family and getting ready to have a family of five! During this time I will respond to messages as well as I am able, but please be patient with me. If you’ve sent me a message recently and haven’t heard back, I am getting to all messages as quickly as I can and will respond soon. This isn’t the end of me painting! Just a short break. Thank y’all for all of your support and understanding during this exciting time for our family ❤️❤️❤️

I was going through my millions of pictures of my kids on my phone trying to gather all of the pictures of my Christmas commissions when I came across this one that I never posted and then continued to find lots more that I never shared with y’all! So here’s to the new year and sticking to my resolution of not procrastinating! Hope you like it 😊 now I have to go organize all of these pics of my kids that go all the way back to 2018

I’m happy that I get to share my recent pet portraits with y’all now! I love creating these custom pieces through the Christmas season. This particular Christmas season was filled with the flu AND covid in our home, so it was not as easy to get these paintings done as it could have been. I am so happy to have finished what I did and I absolutely love hearing how much the portraits were loved! This beloved dog passed away earlier in the year so I expect that the love felt when opening up this painting was strongly felt 🥰🥲
If you were considering commissioning a pet portrait for next year, I encourage you to get on my list soon! It is already filling up quickly for the year 👏 🐶 🐈
