What a beautiful day this couple had. They were so easy to work with and they made our job so smooth and easy. The bride was absolutely beautiful. We can’t thank them and their families enough for everything. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Frye!

First Responder Friday – Tyler West

Tyler West has dedicated 18 years to emergency services, with the past two years serving at BCFPD. While Tyler humbly describes themself as “just a nobody on Bismarck,” his contributions tell a different story. Most Fridays, you’ll find Tyler at the fire station, working shifts during days off from a full-time role at Danville Public Works, where Tyler leads the solid waste division. During Tyler’s shift days you’ll usually find him with either oil or grease on his hands working on vehicles or equipment.

Bringing a wealth of expertise, Tyler is especially knowledgeable in vehicle and small tool maintenance, among many other areas. Tyler’s favorite aspect of being part of the department is helping people in their time of need.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys hunting, camping, and spending quality time with family. Tyler is truly an essential piece of the BCFPD team, making a significant impact both on and off duty.
