Victor Vicere is such a talented artist.
His work captures a myriad of emotions while it can be enjoyed with the naked eye as well as with 3-d glasses and UV light.
The colors come to life as you flash the light onto each piece. His unique perspective is truly incredible and will peak your curiosity.
Victor will be set up for the tour with other artists at the Art Center of the Blue Grass

———————————————-

Victor Vicere has a degree in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Vicere has lived in the Danville, Kentucky area for over the past two decades with his wife, raising his two sons.

Exhibited in several local galleries and The Art Center of the Bluegrass, Vicere creates his artwork via a variety of different methods, ranging from painting, to 3D sculpture in resin, metal sculpture, and Sequential Art.

In much of Vicere's artwork, special techniques allow details to be discovered in different spectrums. Many of Vicere’s reactive pieces change in various lighting, under ultraviolet light, and become luminescent in the absence of light.

If you have never came across a more versatile artist, look no further.
Wayne Daugherty is something truly extraordinary. Any medium he takes on translates into an impressive work of art. From EV foam to polymer clay, to pencil drawing, to Acrylics, this man can do it all.
Currently focusing on acrylic painting and mastering this medium with ease as you can see from his most recent work.
Wayne will be hosting at his Home studio in Danville for the Studio Tour.
Below are a few words from Wayne letting us know a bit more of his process and vision:

“I find inspiration from many natural elements. Weathered wood, peeling paint, rusted metal and beautiful animals.
While the subject does matter, it is not my sole focus. My goal is to capture that specific slant of light, evoking emotions through shape, value, and color.
Texture plays a crucial role in my work. I sculpt and layer colors to create depth and form.”
Wayne Daugherty.

Lynda Ross is our next artist to be featured that will join the Boyle County Artist Tour In September and be sure to check it out as her work is something to be admired.
Please read more about Lynda and her artistic journey. Truly a captivating artist.
Lynda will be exhibiting her work at her Home Studio in Danville. Directions and addresses of the various locations will be shared as we get closer to the tour weekend.

LYNDA ROSS: hails from Rhode Island but has called Danville home since 2008.

She became involved in the local art community by joining supportive artist groups such as Gathering Artists and Plein Air Artists of Central Kentucky, although she rarely leaves her studio to paint outdoors (too much nature). She collects art by local artists and supports the Art Center of the Bluegrass, as a volunteer and two term member of the board of directors.

Oil paint is her favorite medium, chosen for its versatility and tolerance. Over the years Lynda has been improving her technique and developing a style. She enjoys painting portraits, animals and still life. Many of her paintings bring a smile to the viewer and evoke a sense of fun and optimism. Recently, she has employed the palette knife to create real and imagined landscapes and other fanciful images on paper.

In 2021, her painting “Breaking News” was selected for the inaugural Team Kentucky Gallery exhibition and hung in the halls of the Kentucky State Capitol. In 2024, she was selected as one of three artists to participate in the Southern (?) Women exhibition at the Art Center of the Bluegrass. Her painting “Girl power” was selected for Long Shot: the 2026 Governor’s Derby Exhibit presented by the Kentucky Arts Council. Lynda is a frequent participant in Gathering Artists shows at the Art Center and Boyle County Public Library. Her work is sold locally at CAMP on Third Street in Danville.

We are so thrilled to have Tony Richardson join the Artist Studio Tour this year. He will be in his studio at the Art Center and if you have not had a chance to see his work please be sure to stop in as you will be mesmerized. His talent and attention to details are out of this world and we know you will be in awe looking at his incredible work. Tony also has a magnificent “Santas” series that he shows every holiday and adds a new piece to it each year. We can’t wait to see his next project.
please take a minute to read a little more about Tony in his Artist’s biography below, and get a glimpse of his magnificent work.

Tony Richardson is a Kentucky artist now residing in Danville on Herrington Lake. He is self taught with no formal art education. Tony's passion for art began as a young boy in the 1950's when he was given a "Little Golden Book" about the life of Daniel Boone. It's rich, earthy illustrations sparked in him a lifelong passion for art and history. In his early years he was an active artist but work and raising a family interrupted his artistic pursuit for many years. He revived his interest in art in 2006 and began earnest research and
study to become a serious artist. Tony works primarily in graphite and oil. He draws and paints portraits, landscapes, still lifes and historical subjects. His art is realistic, straightforward, offers no messages and
requires no interpretation. For additional information regarding Tony's art and commissions contact him at

Our next Artist is Hope Ritchie. A talented painter that will be joining us this year for the Studio tour.

Hi, I'm Hope, a Central Kentucky artist who creates under the name Brushed With Bourbon. My work is inspired by horses, rural life, and Kentucky landscapes. I enjoy working in watercolor, acrylic, and oil!
After years of health challenges, art has become not only a creative outlet but a meaningful way to connect with my community. Thanks to the support of my family, I've recently been able to spend more time painting and participating in local events.
When I'm not in the studio, I'm usually spending time with my husband, kids, and our pets, or exploring in search of inspiration for my next piece!
