Today it is our honor to share David Ray Farmer and some of his incredible work with everyone.

David is a resident artist at the Art Center of the Bluegrass where you will find him most days Creating his masterpieces.

Here is a bit about our friend and incredible artist:

“David Ray Farmer is a resident artist in The Art Center of the Bluegrass. David is an oil painter in an impressionist realistic style. In over 30 years of painting he is represented in hundreds of collections, including corporations and institutions.”

Today we are excited to share another incredible and so versatile artist. Her vision and creativity will leave you in awe. Below please read about Fran.

BIO: As a life-long artist/storyteller, Fran moved from Richmond, Virginia to
Central Kentucky over thirty-five years ago. She attended the
University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University, graduating
with an Art Degree and Certification in Art Education. Her favorite
mediums are watercolors, oils and acrylics, using mixed media and
colored pencils on paper, boards or canvas. Lately, journal making
and altered books are joining the list.
Fran currently lives in Lancaster with her two cats Mars and Sunnie.
Her favorite art motto is:
“Show up…Make a mess…Repeat

Brandon Edwards is the owner and founder of Frazzell Guitars, a handcrafted guitar and woodworking company based in Danville. With a deep passion for old-school craftsmanship, Brandon specializes in custom-built guitars, guitar repair, and one-of-a-kind woodworking pieces that blend function, artistry, and heritage.

What started as a love for music and working with his hands has grown into a family-driven business rooted in care, authenticity, and attention to detail. Every project — whether it’s a handcrafted instrument or a custom woodworking creation — is built with the belief that quality craftsmanship and personal connection still matter.

Thank you to all the artists that participated in this event and also thank you for all of you that attended and supported this very talented group of artists. You all should be very proud of every one of these artists that live in your own County that haved honed their skills and knowledge and have worked hard to create the beautiful pieces that you got to see this weekend. These were certainly not ALL of the excellent artists that we have in Danville and Boyle County but they are definitely among the best! I have already been contacted by a number of other local artists that are interested in becoming part of the tour next year and we would welcome any that would like to join us to make this even better.
