Art Center of the Bluegrass is the region's leading visual arts center drawing in more than 20,000 visitors annually. Thank you to everyone who came out for the Opening Reception of “Layered Reflections” - an exhibit by Licia Priest in our Grand Hall Gallery through July 25. If you weren’t able to attend on Saturday, be sure to stop in and see this remarkable show!

Licia Priest will also be our guest for Evening with the Arts, on Thursday, July 9, from 6-7 pm. This free series brings artists, writers, and local community members together for vibrant discussions on the arts!

What is Paint the Park? We will paint 200 4-foot-by-4-foot squares along the entrance parking lot at the park. Then you come and Paint the Park! We provide tempera paints, foam brushes and rollers, and you provide the creativity!

Next week we have two new pottery classes starting - register today!

Hand Building with Clay is a six-week class. Students will learn to create pieces using several methods, including pinch pots, coil pots, and constructing with slabs. This class meets on Tuesdays, 6-8 pm, June 23 through July 28.

Beginning/Intermediate Pottery is a six-week class. Students will learn how to throw on the wheel, trim, decorate, and glaze their work. This class meets on Thursdays, 6-8 pm, June 25 through July 30.
