At the moment, my body of fine artwork focuses on the matter of abandoned places and items. I focus on the contrast of showing places and items forgotten by humans, but at the same time being reclaimed by nature. Nature takes these things we've forgotten about and returns them to the Earth, while they become shelter for animals and other species. It also speaks to me in the ways of nothing us huma

ns make ever lasts forever. We forget sometimes that we can never make anything indestructible. Last, I have always wondered why places and items have been abandoned. Why did some one just leave the place, or the items behind? I have recently started to focus on a wider range of the types of photography I will be doing. Aside from Fine Art, I am now venturing into taking photos at festivals and events. These could range from performers to shots of attendees having fun times. I am also starting to expand into taking portrait type shots for personal enjoyment or for promotional reasons. These two other areas of photography will not replace my goals of creating Fine Art photos, as I am allowing myself to branch out into other aspects of photography that I enjoy, and hopefully others do as well. SUE; 35mm B&W Film
"Sue" is the nickname given to FMNH PR 2081, which is the largest, most extensive and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex specimen ever found at over 90% recovered by bulk. It was discovered in August 1990, by Sue Hendrickson, a paleontologist, and was named after her. After ownership disputes were settled, the fossil was auctioned in October 1997, for US $7.6 million, the highest amount ever paid for a dinosaur fossil, and is now a permanent feature at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, Illinois.
