It's 🐪 Day!! Half way to the weekend!
And we are going talk about the final band that will be playing the BLBF on November 14. In fact they are also making their BLBF debut and will be playing 2 sets!

Hustle Souls is a group based out of Asheville, NC that blends a "Retro-Soul, Brass Band Funk, and Singer-Songwriter Americana into a unique and captivating sound." American Blues Scene states they are "a generation-jumping mashup of new school second line funk with old school vintage soul." This is not going to be one you will want to miss and can close out the BLBF jamming with this group. Take a listen below and look forward to seeing you all soon. Tickets on sale September 1.

Who is enjoying this great weather we have been having the last few days? Digging this low humidity but we are sure summer isn't over yet.

But while we wait for the cool fall days lets talk about another musical act that will be making a first time appearance with us at the BLBF on November 14.

We are really looking forward to having Drew Foust and the Wheelhouse with us in November. This natural soul singer and multi-instrumentalist backed by Wheelhouse delivers a brand of "Southern Soul N' Roll" built on deep grooves, raw feeling, and unfiltered authenticity. They have performed at such acclaimed music festivals as FloydFest, Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival, and the North Carolina Folk Fest. So get ready for this great group as tickets will be going on sale on September 1.

Today we want to highlight Gage Saylor and the Creekside Boys that will be making their Bright Leaf Brew Fest debut on November 14.

Gage Saylor & The Creekside Boys are a band of brothers from the small rural coastal North Carolina town of Ocean Isle Beach. Their sound is a blend of influences from past to present, drawing on legends like Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Elvis alongside modern artists like Zach Bryan, Jack White, Kings of Leon and Tyler Childers. So take a listen here and come on out in November to hear them and other great bands (and beer). Tickets will go on sale at www.blbf.org on September 1st.

Today we are highlighting a local talent that many of you will know and that is Gabriel Van & Friends. They will be making a return appearance with their jam rock sound. Can’t wait to see you all in a couple of months.

It’s almost Friday and today we are going to highlight an electric group out of Burlington, NC that will be with us on November 14. And what a treat for us as this is their first time playing BLBF.

Loose Connection is a 4 piece band that comes ready to have some fun. Just take a listen to the sound and fun they are going to bring to BLBF!

Happy Tuesday everyone. Today we are giving a shout out to another musical act that will be playing the BLBF on November 14. I am sure you locals are familiar with this lineup.

Come out to see Trevor, Ty, TJ, and Mark with On the Margins rock the River Stage from 12:30 - 1:30 with their eclectic mix of music with a jam band feel. What a perfect sound for a beer festival.

Happy Hump Day everyone! With just over 3 months until Brew Fest (November 14, Save the Date), we want to highlight the musical acts that will be there with us.

Would you like to attend one of the best events in Danville at no charge? Well, you can. As we are a non-profit event, VOLUNTEERS are needed to help put on one of the best events in the Danville area. We can’t do it without them. That is where you come in.

We break the event into two (2) shifts for our volunteers. As a volunteer you would work one of the shifts and receive free admission to the other shift you do not work along with tasting glass. PLUS, you receive an event t-shirt! And as usual we have some great live music planned with bands already listed on our website.

We have been able to donate funds from this events to many community organizations in past years and with your help we can can continue that tradition.
