GLASS Museum Kentucky “GLASS” features the museum collection of Stephen Rolfe Powell & other known glass artists.

The Art Center acquired the collection in 2023 with the goals of keeping the collection together and sharing it with the public. The artistry of hot glass master Stephen Rolfe Powell will fill the Grand Hall Gallery in this exhibition celebrating the 40-year legacy of Stephen Powell’s teaching and his distinguished career as one of America’s leading studio glass artists.

Danville has become synonymous with Stephen Powell, who chose to make Centre College and Danville his home for most of his career.

We hope you will join us for an Opening Reception on Friday, October 9 from 4:30-7 pm. This exhibit will be on display from October 8 - January 2. Admission is always FREE!

Stop by the Art Center and grab your pots this week. We are open Monday - Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm, and the pottery can be picked up at the front desk in 401 W. Main (at the corner of Main and 4th).
