A triangle is considered a strong shape because it distributes force evenly across its three sides, making it rigid and resistant to deformation, unlike shapes with more sides (like squares or rectangles) that can easily bend or collapse unless reinforced. This inherent stability comes from its fixed angles, meaning it can't change shape without altering the length of its sides, which is why triangles are fundamental in bridges, trusses, and architecture. Last week our Triangle was damaged but not broken......
Today, With tears in our eyes and heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of our friend, family member, Uncle, fishing buddy, and lead photographer Kyle Shepard. Altho his life was far too short we can all look back at how he lived it, and learn a very valuable lesson- Its okay to jump into the raging tides and fight against the curents. To Travel the road less traveled, to live selflessly, seek the truth, help anyone you can, and completely immerse yourself in anything and everything that makes you FEEL something.
Kyle lived every day of his life like this, and never thought twice. From his professional Baseball career with the Cubs that he was incredibly humble about and kept very secret to most, and his selfless time working as an ABA counselor. To later on curating a career here as one of our lead photographers, and building a wildly fast tracked, and talented career as a commercial Bluefin Tuna fisherman. Kyle lived a life most could only imagine in their dreams, He did more on his short time on earth than most do in a lifetime....He loved hard, put 1000% into everything he did and took pride in being a perfectionist at everything he tried his hands at.
We're all heartbroken, but we will continue on with you in our hearts, our souls, and memories.... Love you Shepy, miss you more than words can explain, and I promise, one day, we will fight giants together once again πβ€οΈ
