The Series
The Finger Lakes Arts Series features some of the finest writers and visual artists in Western New York and beyond. Each month the series, sponsored by the MacFadden Coffee Company and Poets & Writers.

All events are FREE, and include an Open Mic for local poets, writers, musicians and other artists. Free and open to the public. Hosted by George Guida.

Friday, September 11th, 6 p. m.--When Emotions Break Through
Poet, writer, and social worker John Veaunt shares poems from his interactive collection for young people, When Emotions Break Through.

Friday, September 25th, 6 p. m.--Poetry Power Couple
Poets Michael Waters and Mihaela Moscaliuc share poems from their new collections Pagan Sky (Boa Editions, 2026) and Heartmoor (Alice James, 2026), and discuss life as a poetry couple.

Friday, October 9th, 6 p. m.--Bone
Poet and memoirist Monique Ferrell will share poems from her new collection, Bone (New York Quarterly Press, 2026), continuing her exploration of womanhood and race in American life and history.
