Some artists play a set while some become part of the heartbeat of the festival. The later is Joe and that’s exactly why we’re beyond excited to welcome him to Kinfolk Music & Arts Festival.
Joe Samba represents everything this day is about — energy, connection, honesty and feel-good summer music. His sound moves effortlessly between reggae, rock, hip hop, punk and soul while somehow still feeling completely and unmistakably his own.
If you’ve seen Joe live, you already know he isn’t the kind of artist that walks on stage, plays songs and leaves. The connection between him and the crowd is real. That’s what we care about most at Kinfolk. And who knows, maybe a familiar voice off of an album will join him on stage 👀
Joe Samba is a rising force in the reggae rock world, blending island grooves, punk energy, hip hop flair and soulful songwriting into a sound that feels both fresh and unmistakably his own.
His third full-length album Lifeline features collaborations with Wax, Mihali, JARV, Eric Krasno and Anthony Resta, showcasing his most personal and ambitious work to date.
The Massachusetts-born and New Hampshire-based artist first broke out with his debut album The Wrong Impression, which reached #1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart. He followed it with Far From Forever and a relentless touring schedule alongside artists including Dirty Heads, Ziggy Marley, Pepper, Shwayze and Sublime With Rome.
