We were approached recently by an organization in New York for some assistance. Some of our favorite bingo players are New Yorkers.

Wilder Souls Rescue based in Carmel NY is a dog rescue with a mission statement of rescuing young pups to senior dogs. Good people putting good out in the world.

We will have a box set aside to collect donations if you wish to participate. We will have the box available the two bingos in July. July 3rd and July 17th.

They will be grateful for wet/dry dog food, treats, wee wee pads, laundry detergent, clorox/lysol wipes. Also accepting gently used dog beds, exercise pens, crates, toys, leashes, collars and harnesses.

They will of course accept gift cards to Amazon, Chewy and grocery stores.

Thank you on behalf of all the dogs that will benefit from your generosity.

What you need to know. Yes we do play bingo on federal holidays.

Kitchen specials are bacon cheeseburger (first time ever) and homemade potato salad.

Progressive Jackpot is up to $2000 for full card in 53 #'s or less. Who couldn't use that?

If you want to play sealed tickets get a number when you come in to keep your night organized. There's a new dab games out there for $2000. We may introduce it on the 19th or hold it till the jackpot gets bigger. Depends on the crowd.

Doors open 3:30. Bingo starts at 6:00. Going home around 9:15. Overflow parking at the Amber Room space permitting.

Because we know inquiring minds want to know.

At the marathon we had an oversized fish bowl filled with lottery tickets, the instant scratch off kind. Many people were hoping they won that one.

Our minds fantasized about winning a million dollars, winning half a million....what we could do, where we could go, the job we could quit.....endless fantasies and delusions.

Well we are saddened to say in that whole pile there was only $60 in winners. Barely enough to fill a gas tank or a bag of groceries.

Oh well, better luck next time.

Next bingo is 3rd Friday in June and we will have no instant scratch off for door prizes.

What you need to know:

Kitchen specials are meatball grinders on really good rolls and Caperese Pasta Salad, a summer favorite.

Regular items include grilled cheese sandwiches, pizza 🍕, hot dogs with fixings, side salads, cake and jello- red jello.

Our green progressive is getting up there. We are on week 11 of 16 and prize is $1850 for a full card in 53 or less. For this progressive we bank $150 each session as opposed to the customary $125.

Doors open 3:30. Bingo starts at 6:00. Sealed tickets start at 4:05. Get your ticket with a number from the sealed ticket police. You will know where you are in line to reduce anxiety.

May is a FIVE Friday month so we wont be seeing your smiling faces this Friday. We are back June 5th for our regular Friday night bingos.

If you have been to the rodeo before you are old enough to know dont believe everything you hear and there's multiple sides to a story.

Sealed ticket sales start at 4:05

Speaking of sealed tickets, we tried something a little different. It seemed to ease the chaos of buying sealed tickets. When you come in, get a number. That is your position in line. The sealed ticket "police" will call up numbers in groups of 5 at a time. Once all given out numbers are called, we start over again so you can redeem in any winners and buy more tickets. After that any stray sales can come up to the table. Return the number tickets to a basket on the coffee/tea table for next bingo.

We will try that for now and like all things it works well until it does not. One must be in the building to get a number. You cannot get a number for a friend or the person parking the car.
