Five years ago, Rocky walked through the doors of Damascus Tattoo Company at 22 years old to begin her apprenticeship.

Since then, we’ve had the opportunity to watch her grow into the artist and professional she is today. She’s put in the work, built a loyal clientele, and become an important part of this studio.

Now her heart is taking her to West Virginia for a new chapter. Her last full-time day at Damascus Tattoo Co. will be Aug. 29, but fortunately this isn’t goodbye. She’ll still be making regular trips back to tattoo with us throughout the year.

We’re proud of you, Thank you for everything you’ve contributed to this place over the last five years. You’ll always have a place here we love you 🖤

Every tattoo is a collaboration between artist and client. Sometimes it becomes a collaboration between artists too.

We’re running a tattoo raffle to help our dear friend father, Allen Phillips, after he was seriously injured in a car accident last week.
🎟 $20 per entry
🏆 Prize: $1,000 tattoo gift certificate
🗓 Raffle runs for 14 days (drawing 2/26/26)
All proceeds will go directly toward supporting Allen’s recovery.
To purchase a raffle ticket, please call the shop at 301-253-8800 or stop by the studio in person to grab one.
Important: The $1,000 gift certificate is valid for one sitting with one artist. Every effort will be made to match the winner with their preferred artist. However, final artist selection will be based on the project — the design, style, and size must be the right fit for the artist.
