Well the Hop is over for this year. We had a wonderful time and if the vendors are to be believed they had a good time too. We want to thank everyone who attended and a special thanks to all of the vendors. Without all of you this could not happen. We are so pleased to be a part of bringing quilting to the forefront of what is happening in Dalton, GA.

Wonderful time today at the One Stop Shop Hop, 2019. Lots of talking and laughter and many oooohs, and ahhhs going on too. Then it was over to the Creative Arts Guild in Dalton to look at the display of quilts hanging there and finally back home. This is not an event that happens every day in this area and the support of those who love quilting and sewing is appreciated. More new things will be available tomorrow too. Hope you all have a wonderful night and we see you tomorrow!

It is hard to believe the time has been rushing by quicker than the blink of an eye. The One Stop Shop Hop is only days away. Come on out on Friday April 12 and Saturday, April 13th to look at all of the wonderful quilts and quilting products. This year promises to be much better than last year with more vendors and more to see and do. Come join the fun! Tuesday April 9th is the last day to get your quilts entered into the challenges.

I love getting messages from vendors telling me they have booked their rooms to spend the night during the shop hop and I love when customers let me know the same thing, that they are staying for the two day event! Wonderful!

Great day today. Had a wonderful lady come in a volunteer to help me with the Shop Hop. God always sends us help when we need it and yes I needed it today. Tomorrow starts the hanging of quilts at the Creative Arts Guild in Dalton and is the start of when the Challenge quilts are suppose to be turned in. This is wonderful. Don't have a clue how it will all get done but we will definitely be working hard and seeing how it goes. Will really have to depend on God again tomorrow!

I am super excited! It's almost time. We have 11 more days until we are Hopping!!! The Shop Hop is scheduled and I keep getting telephone calls and messages asking about the dates. We have a Set Up Day for Vendors only to come in and set up their booths which will be April 11th. Then April 12 and 13th we will be open for customers and friends to come see all of our things from 8am until 5pm. We look forward to seeing you all!!!!

For those who have not yet got the notice, great things are happening. Two Sisters Quilting from Monticello, GA will be joining us, as well as Chattanooga Sewing Machines, and Mama Said Sew, and Marti Mechell Enterprises, and Birdhouse Quilts (Gammill Longarm Dealer) and in addition to all of that Northcott Fabrics and Silks will be doing a trunk show on Friday Morning at 10:00am. Vendors should all plan to bring their Northcott Fabrics and the Stonehenge Challenge blocks as well as your Northcott Quilts of Valor Fabrics as Northcott is bringing some of those to hang at the event! Please let all of your customers know what all is happening and let them know that there will be lots of show specials happening at this event and there is other things happening outside the event including classes by Nina Clodfelter and we still have room in those classes scheduled for Friday if anyone is interested. Nina is amazing!! Give me a call or come by the shop to check on what all is happening!!

WOO HOO!!! Called someone today, who is extremely well known in the quilt world and known internationally as a wonderful quilter about another matter entirely and she said to me "Did you call me to see if I would be in your show?" I told her no that wasn't the reason I called but we would be delighted to have her and she started asking me questions about what she could do. I told her "All you have to do is ASK!" I think she will be there but she is checking her calendar first. One thing I want everyone to be aware of, if you have a problem or an issue about what you want to do or want, all you have to do is ASK!! Last year a lady called me at virtually the very last minue and wanted to know if she could still get a booth. I'm talking like 2 days before it opened and I was able to make room for her and she later told me that she had a wonderful show and that it had taught her to ask, even if she was late it didn't hurt to ask. After all the worst I could say was there was no more space. Don't let the little things hold you back. Just ASK!!! The answer may have to be no, but at least you will know that you tried and that is what it is all about!!! Hope you have a wonderful day!
